How to Make a Soothing Essential Oil Foot Bath🌷

Use a container large enough to place your feet in and fill it with warm water. Add a handful of Epsom salts and 8 -12 drops of your favourite essential oil and then add to water. Soak your feet for 20-30 minutes and relax.

🌟Essential oils do not mix with water so always add your essential oil to a dispersant such as full fat milk, coconut milk or honey, before adding to bath water to avoid the risk of skin burning or irritation.

🌷My favourite essential oils for soothing sore feet

🌷Rose Geranium Essential Oil is often used to treat a variety of skin ailments. If you have painful feet and they are calloused or sore, rose geranium can help provide relief. It has powerful healing properties and increases blood circulation right below the surface of the skin. Rose Geranium promotes the development of new cells so it can work to keep your feet feeling soft.

🌷Lavender essential oil is the most relaxing essential oil. It helps relax the muscle and relieve joint pain; it also helps heal various skin conditions. It is both an analgesic and anti-inflammatory so it has powerful pain relieving properties.

❣️My favourite is a foot bath with 12 drops of lavender essential oil, three drops of rose geranium essential oil and a handful of epsom salts to soothe the feet and calm the nerves after a stressful day and relieve fatigue.

😊Perfect for a winter's day after a long day on your feet.
